2023-04-25 A walk into the City of Amsterdam

Yesterday, Tuesday 25 of april,  my Turkish son, "benim ouloum Timurkan" came tot visit us in our hometown Amsterdam. With his lovely wife Selin, and their little princess Aden.  He wanted to show this 13 months young kid to his "Dutch Mother an Father".  This "title of honor" we became from my "Turkish Kardes" Cihat, now also the grandfather of Aden.  We already know Timo ourselves, for more than 23 years, when he was just a nosy little boy. Now he is the new manager of the Hotel. His father an mother ran the Hotel Maxima, owned bij his parents, for a long time.  And at that time we became good friends, of the family.....

At that time also his siblings Bartu and Aybüke at time also very young, now living in Izmir, grew up at "our" splendid "summer" Hotel.  At that time we had a lot of friends in animation team, and on the beach.  Everyday we went sporting wit these guys and girls. And of course I was for a awful lot of times, on stage with them.....  

With Ekko, Mesut, Baris and Effe we also had a lot of fun on the beach, and with the quads into the mountain, and the football pitch. Besides the Turkish friends we met a lot of Dutch people, and became friends.....  (Perry, Marcel, Peter etc.).

Wat I heard is that my other "Turkish brother" Murad started a fresh new restaurant in Zwolle. Good luck with that my friend.  
I hope everybody, in the USA, Turkey and the Netherlands, will stay happy, healthy and succes with their business they do and start.....
